1970′s design
Cartel is a board game published by A Gamut of Games in 1973. The design of the board is gorgeous — it’s full of very nice company logos. The game’s pretty good, too.
The ugly fold (“The American valley”, as it’s called) on the board is a 1970′s American feature, fortunately absent from the modern game boards.
